Hey Y'all,

Shania Twain has an amazing prescence and talent, but do you think her career and persona are overexposed? I mean she has three albums, the first one didn't do anything, so really two hit albums, and so many concerts of her videos and live performances from everywhere on DVD! Do you think it's a bit much?

I don't really think it's too much. When she had hits they really were great. I think her and Mutt are fantastic writers and really knew how to market Shania. It's just weird how she decided to just drop everything at the height of it all.
I do understand how one could get sick of hearing her on the radio all the time. Way too much airplay!

Ugh!! A bit much?? She hasn't been too bad lately, but between her and Faith Hill, I wanted to smash my radio! And of course, as soon as they play a Faith song, the have to play a Tim McGraw song. I think they passed a law or something...:rolleyes:

Overexposure....it's why most people don't miss them when they finally go away. The same with some of these pop boy bands and pop 'princesses'.

I liked her in the beginning but then it got to much. I heard her all the time on the radio. :hammer:

Well Lisa, Shania went off to have a baby, she's already given birth to a healthy baby boy. I think she's currently spending time with ther newborn son and culling material for her next album. :)

I hope she does get back to work again soon. I think she's really talented. Now that she isn't on the radio all the time when I hear one of her songs I really enjoy them!

I hope she decides to call it quits! I HATE her music, dammit just go pop and leave country to the acts who are country like George Strait and Alan Jackson.

I hear ya djdaffy and partially agree, she is almost a pop act, but she does have a tinge on country that comes through and I really like that side, and hope to hear more of it in the future. I think Shania has some more surprises for the country fans! :)
