Was the song "Whirly Girl" by Oxo the only "hit" that this group had? I don't remember them having any other hit songs in the 80s, and I think this song hit the Top 40, circa 1983. If my memory serves me correctly, they were from Puerto Rico and managed by the same guys that managed Latin wonders Menudo. And their name is a palindrome!!! :lol:

Yes, "Whirly Girl" was the only single that Oxo had. It went as high as #28 on the charts in 1983.

"Whirly Girl" is definitely a great one hit wonder! I've never heard anything from OXO again. This song was a hit in Japan in about '81 or '82 and I bought the Japanese 45 over there! :)
