I voted to buy a game for the PC. I'm not really into those game systems. There are two many different kinds and new ones are always coming out. I'd rather just have one PC with great games rather than have one system and wonder what the others are like...

Why, is there something wrong with it?
I own C&C 1 Pack, C&C 2 Pack and C&C 4 (I only know the German titles, so I´ve better listed them only as numbers before the game freaks are going down on me... ), only missing is C&C 3.
I also own the predecessors, Dune and Dune 2000.
I don´t have much time for gaming, but I prefer strategic games to any other category.
Nothin' but Nintendo! That is my motto. I strayed from them once (Sega Genesis) and missed out on a lot of great games. Nope! I am waiting patiently for the Gamecube.
In all fairness though, PC games should not be in the mix with console games. They're a different breed and not a console alive can keep up with a well built PC.

GB Advance - i'm not home enough to play video games as much as I want to, so if I were to spend money on any new system, it would definitely be GBA. Plus, I can play this in my bed, at work, on my couch, in my kitchen, on the porch, etc, etc.

Maybe not when it comes to graphics, but it depends on what sort of gameplay that suits you. I like cool graphics, but gameplay means more to me. My fav. game right now is on Gameboy Advance: Kuru Kuru - a puzzle where you navigate a stick through a maze. Could have been a Atari 2600 game based on graphics, but it's still very addictive.
The nature of console games - turn on, play, turn off - is different from most (not all) PC games. That's why PC games got a spot in the poll.
I don't want to invest in a game machine when I already have cartloads of games for my Mac. (Diablo I & II, Warcraft I & II, Starcraft, Baldur's Gate, Myst, Riven, SW Episode I Racer, The Sims, Civilization, Caesar III, Railroad Tycoon, the list goes on) I've flirted with the idea of buying a PS2 so I can play the new Dragonriders of Pern game, but maybe I'll just tease a PC owning friend to buy it, or play it on weekends at the office, LOL.

Hey, Roem. Heard anymore about when we can expect the Gamecube to show its beautiful self? I feel like Ralphie from "A Christmas Story" waiting for this thing.
