Hey, that was too easy...didn´t have anything more difficult in stock?
Okay...I have cheated. Went to KLOV.com Killer List Of Videogames to check for your questions. This site is really a killer, it features thousands of arcade games with a description - but I´m telling you nothing new, I bet...
Actually, Wave, I hadn't seen that site yet (no, really, honest) . It is cool, thanks for the link.
You didn't answer the bonus question, smart guy...

Pong was a great guess, but the first commercial video arcade game was...
(drum roll)
Computer Space, in 1971 (the year before Pong)
Here's the site I cheated with: Videotopia

that's a good one, Smurf.
I think Dragon's Lair was special because it was the first animated laserdisc game (Space Ace came later). Don Bluth (All Dogs Go To Heaven) did the animation, right?
How'd I do?

'Coz it's the same game-engine
They actually released DL 1 & 2 for PS2 2 months ago. I rented it, and found it to be utterly boring. Graphics are nice and all, but u still get the annoying blackscreens between actions, and it just doesn't have tha same appeal as it did back then.
But I'd recommend Capcom Generations any day...11 great games from the 80s, and almost every one still has charm and appeal
