HELP!!! I just ruined my summer by purchasing one of those monsters. I can't sleep without getting my two hour GBA fix. I lost interest in music, food and family. I just wanna play on my Gameboy.
The wonderful side is that I am now hoping for longer lay-overs when flying - "If I miss this connection, then I have another three hours of playing in the airport".
Am I the only one who's infected? Is there any help for me or am I forever stuck in Nintendo land?
you're not the only one. i got gameboy color about 5 months ago and i'm a total addict. they are definitely a *must have* when flying. i swear, i don't know how i ever survived flying without one.
what games do you play?
my favs are zelda (i'm playing the ages one now), Space marauder, and powerpuff girls.

yeah...gbc and gba do kick serious ass Love the Zelda series, especially Ages and Seasons. Saved my life when I had jury duty...lol. While I'm not huge on most racing games, I do like F-Zero...funky tunes on that bad boy
Right there with ya', Roem. I am loving the Zelda games for the CGB. Now if I could just avoid work so I could get in more play time. Hmmm. Sounds like a good time to call in sick...

i'm playing the Ages one now. I'm only on level 3 and it's already hard as hell. I don't know if I'm going to be able to stick with this one. Might be time for a new game.
Anyone have any suggestions for a good GBC
game?

I've been considering Seasons as first, and Ages second...only because Seasons is waaaaay easier than Ages. Ages is ultra difficult...that damn thing had my head spinning...lol.
xi, if you need any help on that, just ask I've finished both Ages and Seasons linked and unlinked.
If you like the Zelda type, try 'Link's Awakening DX' or 'Oracle of Seasons' if you haven't already.
Thanks Roem! I finished "Link's Awakening" That was *really* good. Except the ending mad me sad because he'll miss his girl! haha. I'm such a sap.
I'll have to attempt my "Ages" again this weekend. I'm sure I'll hit you up for a couple hints.

Ask away! I get plenty of e-mails looking for tips through my Zelda section of my site, so I'm used to helping
Link's Awakening was a toughie too...if you could get through that one, you'll get through Ages eventually
I bought Zelda Ages a while ago and am currently stuck on it. Im currently on the water dungeon. I tried everything, the past and the present, and i have the stragety guide but cant seem to beat the game. I havent played it in a month or two because it is very frustrating.

cheats....bah! That's the most pointless way to go through a game...no offence to those who use 'em, but it just makes no sense to me to play a game just to cheat through it...where's the challenge?
I'm with you, Roem. No cheats. Takes the fun out of having to solve a puzzle. Don't like hearing that "Seasons" is easier than "Ages" though. I've been struggling with that one. Grrr. Oh, well. That's why I have rechargable batteries.

I would never use cheatcodes to finish a game, but I'll gladly admit, that from time to time I will use a strategyguide or walkthru' if I'm stuck. I think of it as asking an expert for advice, no shame in asking for help IMO.
Cheatcodes are for fun AFTER u've finished the game, like the nukes in C&C, Uzis in TR, the minigun in WipeOut
It's like when you're awarded cheats & playmodes in THPS, you can use 'em to do otherwise impossible stuff or simply get even more fun from the game

Cheater-Smurf!!! I hate to fork out $$, a kidney and my firstborn for a game only to cheat, so I can finish in less time. I'm playing Bugs Bunny on the GBC. If it get much harder Bugs will end up as roadkill on the DC beltway!
Shakey, have you tried Ages yet? I'm telling you man...I'll admit, Seasons is difficult in it's own right...very difficult in fact, but Ages is like 10 steps over the insanity barrier...I mean that thing is HELL!! lol.
The only thing harder in Seasons than Ages is the final boss...you really gotta memorize his patterns to perfection to get through him...
Ok, I'll admit, I've already used the cheat book once on Ages. I knew what I had to do, but couldn't freakin figure this one thing out. It was like a stupid thing too that was totally obvious. Anyway, I *hate* to use the cheats, but sometimes I just can't help it, especially when I know it's something I'm just being dumb about.
As for the more difficult puzzles, I typically never cheat on them. I like the challenge, even if I have to put the game down for a week to clear my frustration.
i think i'm the only girl in this conversation. *lol*
