Its official. I am now a father! Little Emily Grace was born yesterday @ 1:37 pm. She weighs 6.26 pds and is 18 in. in length.My wife and I were at an appointment on Tuesday and her water broke at the doctors office(how convenient is that?! LOL!)
We went through 22 hours of labor and my wife began running a fever torwards the end, so the baby is currently in ICU to make sure there is no infection.
Both are currently doing fine.Hopefully, if everything is well,they will let her be in the room with Mom tomorrow. I never understood till the moment I held my daughter what incredible feeling it is to be a parent. Makes me wish I didnt wait as long as we did. I cant wait to take her and Mom home.
This is my parents first grandchild and my first child as well, she is guarenteed to be spoiled rotten! hehe! Hopefully I can get a pic or two posted soon.This is my first time to return to the house since this all happened.
Awwww Congrats on your new little Girl!! I'm so happy for you and your wife!! Being a Parent is the best feeling in the world
