Post Police!

I remember I was in the 3rd grade the first time I heard "The Police". The song was "Ghost in the Machine" off "Synchoncity", man that album rocks! Sting is awesome, I can't wait to see him in concert.

The Police are (or were) something else. I have recently read an interview (the first one in 15 years!) and the stories and general discussion of what they have done was so inspiring. As well as sharing a few secrets - the weird chord and laugh that you hear at the start of 'Roxanne' was actually Sting sitting on the keys of a piano next to the mic in the studio and laughing while they did the vocals! they thought it was so funny, they left it on the final recording
I LOVE the video for 'Every Breath You Take' the lighting and black and white film - it's timeless

LOL like you LivinInThe80s, I was in highschool when Syncronicity came out. Actually that summer I was in Cadet Camp and our barracks played this album EVERY night when it was lights out.
I still love this album.

We had a jukebox in the cafeteria of our Junior High...I swear there were about 20 Police songs on it! I kinda get creeped out by..."Every Breath You Take", because this guy was like stalking me and played this song everytime I answered the phone!

That's really creepy Myst. It's a good song, but wasn't one of my favorites by them. They put out some really good songs.

Cool

I think The Police had to be one of the best 80's bands. I own all of their albums. Synchronicity is my favorite.
