My vote is for "Sixteen Candles". That is one of my all time favorites!

Beverly Hills Cop. The original was great. Eddie Murphy at his best.

I voted for "Beverly Hills Cop" that was the funniest movie of the bunch that I saw in 1984!! :thumb: Eddie Murphy was on top of his game in this film! :)

I voted for Revenge Of The Nerds.This was a tough poll but I went with that one because I thought it was the funniest one.

This is a tough one....as will be all of the polls based in '84 and '85...just two spectacular years for music and movies :D

I went with Beverly Hills Cop....Revenge of the Nerds was a close second...just watched that late last night :) NERDS!!!! :hammer::lol:

I had to go with my sentimental favorite, Sixteen Candles. This is my favorite comedy of all time and I watch it at least once a month or so. I've committed the entire script to memory!!! :)

Definitely a tough one! I went for Beverly Hills Cop. I decided to vote on the movie I would most want to see if I had to watch one today.

I went with nerds, so many classic scenes and quotes :lol: Tri-cycle beer race, "we've got bush", every scene with Pointdexter, Jamal the list goes on....This flik still cracks me up :lol:

I went with Beverly Hills Cop. Eddie Murphy was too funny in that! But I also liked Police Academy and Revenge Of The Nerds. (Which, btw, I saw a couple of days ago.) :)

I just watched most of This Is Spinal Tap last night. A few funny parts, but I didn't think it was worth all the hype it gets. Am I the only one with that opinion?

It would have been interesting to see where 'Bachelor Party' would have ended up on this poll. For me that was by far the funniest comedy of 1984.
