View Full Version : Most Annoying Cartoon Character? Trixter 4-05-02, 04:09 PM Hey Y'all, Who would you pick as the most annoying cartoon character you've ever watched? Christine 4-05-02, 06:07 PM The most annoying cartoon characters are the ones from South Park. In my opinion, that is one of the worst shows on television. :yucky: Ted Nugent 4-05-02, 06:23 PM Originally posted by Christine The most annoying cartoon characters are the ones from South Park. In my opinion, that is one of the worst shows on television. :yucky: I agree, I can't stand the show. lol Most teenagers now-a-days like it though. Recker 4-05-02, 06:23 PM To me, she is the most irritating cartoon character out there. She has this holier-than-thou attitude towards everything and is a complete Know-it-all. She has very little respect for most of her elders and tries to push her beliefs and opinions on to others. I would actually hate to have a child like her. I think it would be easier to knock Bart into shape than to deal with a self-righteous brat like Lisa! OK, I really HATE Lisa Simpson OK??? :hammer:  80sAlive.com 4-05-02, 06:50 PM Traditionally the cartoon characters that always annoyed me the most were the kid "sidekicks" in all of the action-oriented cartoons. Some examples would be Wendy and Marvin from the old Superfriends cartoon, Bobby from Dungeons & Dragons, and the "Thunderkittens" from the Thundercats. These "sidekicks" did nothing but get under foot, and always needed the heroes to bail their asses out of a bind. For the life of me, I will never understand why networks insist on having these worthless characters in the shows. I supose their logic is that kids will identify with the show's youngsters. However, I distinctly remember always despising these type of characters even as a child - even my friends felt the same way! Cartoon_Chris 4-05-02, 06:53 PM Scrappy Doo, Orko, Scooter the Go-Bot (stupid voice), Ren & Stimpy, almost all of the ninja turtle characters, Woody Woodpecker.... and Looney Tunes characters that never took a turn at getting blown up. That's right, I did NOT like the Looney Tunes as a kid. To me, the "bad guys" never did anything evil enough to deserve their cruel treatment. Yes, I was a weird kid to have thought of such things, but when raised on '80s cartoons, anything short of trying to take over the world didn't seem very evil. Polar Bear Jeff 4-05-02, 07:11 PM Mr Macky on South Park, m'kay. Trixter 4-05-02, 08:08 PM Originally posted by Polar Bear Jeff Mr Macky on South Park, m'kay. What? Mr. Makcy rules! SACRILIGE!!! Snagglepuss was so cool! But I agree about the Brainy Smurf comment. Man that smurf irritated me big time! In fact there are a lot of similarities between him and Lisa Simpson! 80sTrivia 4-06-02, 06:08 AM Also, Simon from Alvin and the Chipmunks was highly annoying. In fact, he was just like Brainy Smurf, an egotistical know-it-all, which I can't stand!!! Oh, Alvin and Theodore could be annoying too!!! Trixter 4-06-02, 06:16 AM Originally posted by Recker Snagglepuss???? SACRILIGE!!! Snagglepuss was so cool! Ok, Reck! Calm down!! Seriously, I actually liked the spin-off series "Daria" more than "Beavis & Butthead", I found it funnier and more entertaining. :) Flix 4-06-02, 12:08 PM Originally posted by Trixter Yeah, and some people here would say that you and Recker are those characters! Just kiddin' around. That would make Recker proud. He always wanted to be a cartoon character after they dumped him for the Goofy part. Attack of the Killer Tomatoes Brittany..that girl chipmunk from Alvin and the chipmunks..GRR Monocular 1-23-03, 10:49 PM The worst character was probably the annoying leprechaun sidekick from the Punky Brewster cartoon. Remember this one? His name was something like "Gimli" (like the name of the dwarf in the LOTR movies) amk27 1-24-03, 12:54 AM Scrappy Doo, that little bastard single handedly recked the show, that little shit really anoys me! I think she grew a couple feet, got implants,a nd changed her last name to Spears. Am I right? THey sound exactly the same! Chaos Phoenix 7-29-04, 05:58 PM Read my post on the thread "Cartoon characters you didn't like" (http://www.80sxchange.com/forums/showpost.php?p=416927&postcount=24). I find it difficult to sit through a whole episode of either! BooBoo Bear and Snaglepuss were both voted "Most likely to be Gay"! Along with Bert & Ernie from "Sesame Street" & He-Man! ("Not that there's anything wrong with that.") Possible lesbians were Thelma from "'Scooby Doo" and Alexandra Cabot from "Josie & the Pussycats"(That bitch with the reverse skunk hair!) Speaking of check this out! http://www.cnn.com/2002/SHOWBIZ/12/09/rawhide.kid.gay/ One character whose laugh sends chills down my spine to this day though is Woody Woodpecker! HAHAHAHAHA......HAHAHAHAHA.....HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!! !!!!!! :grrr: spudsoup 8-24-04, 11:43 PM ANY of the Carebears, Caillou (sooo whiney) and of course Inspector Gadget. Too bad he didn't have a go-go gadget quarter to buy himself a clue. Senator Jaiz 8-25-04, 09:17 AM To me, she is the most irritating cartoon character out there. She has this holier-than-thou attitude towards everything and is a complete Know-it-all. She has very little respect for most of her elders and tries to push her beliefs and opinions on to others. I always thought he was so cute! (I know, I know, I'm in the minority here :( ) But I completely agree with the person who said Freddie!! THAT'S someone I'd LOVE to kill! I'm so glad in the brand new 'What's New, Scooby Doo', they gave him something he was sorely lacking...a PERSIONALITY!!! But as far as SUPER annoying characters, speaking as a blonde I can only think of Meolody from 'Josie'. I bet she was the inspiration of Paris Hilton, Brittney Spears, Jessica Simpson, and Pam Anderson. :dammit: Because of THEM us blondes were peppetually sen as 'dumb and easy' and can hardly ever be taken seriously, and the really smart blondes who weren't skanky, like my girl...Merilee  went unnoticed and their shows dissapeared because no one took it seriously that a blonde can be smart and serious! :bigcry: Anyway, don't mean to be preachy, but that's why my vote for most annoying is Melody! HATE her!! Merilee :rockband: :rose: Monster 11-05-04, 02:59 AM Scooby Doo is the most annoying character because that dog has a very stupid laugh! By the way, South Park is a funny cartoon. Chaos Phoenix 11-21-04, 02:50 PM Possible lesbians were Thelma from "'Scooby Doo" and Alexandra Cabot from "Josie & the Pussycats"(That bitch with the reverse skunk hair!) Alexandra...a LESBIAN!?!? Didn't she spend just about every episode hunting Alan down like a runaway fugitive? She spent more time trying to get into his pants than HE did!!! :D AeroNuts 11-26-04, 09:48 PM Donald Duck and Sponge Bob whistledog 11-26-04, 11:28 PM Sponge Bob is very annoying Tanya1976 11-27-04, 02:01 PM Scrappy Doo and Brainy Smurf for sure. midges girl 11-27-04, 03:54 PM Hi all the most annoying for me was/is fog horn leg horn, always thought he knew it all, (like some people i know) then mucked what ever he was doing up,and for those of you who watch Corination street doesn,t he remined you of Fred Elliot?. Hipechik70 12-12-04, 09:42 PM Minni Mouse, Road Runner...i can't think of more? I love south park by the way...how can you not like it? But to each it's own...mmmmmkay! LOL :bouncy: quartzcite 2-15-05, 09:42 PM Megatron. His Ego Was The Reason The Decpticons Always Got Whipped By The Autobots. And Everytime Starscream Would Be Right About Something, Megatron's Ego Just Got In the way And It Ended Up Making Him Look Like A Total Arse You call yourself a Transformers fan. When was Starscream ever right. Even in the movie he was dead wrong about all he said. He was too headstrong and egotistical. That's why he died. Even if we went into the comics He was never right there too. He died from too much power when his ego wouldn't let him listen to reason. The reason Megetron was the same reason Skelator and Cobra didn't win. It was from lack of good soldiers and one other thing it was in the script that the bad guys lost. If you can't see that then you should not call yourself a fan. AngelicR 2-16-05, 12:12 AM I never liked Woody Woodpecker because of his annoying huh huh huh huh huh, huh huh huh huh huh, huhhuhhuhuhuhuh.......Giggles.... :D Jefferson Starship 2-18-05, 10:34 PM Anything about South Park specially Kenny & Cartman. Scooby Doo is a cult classic kids!! :tsk: :argh: FrankBooth 2-19-05, 01:07 AM The entire Hill family from King of the Hill. Bobby especially On second thought, just make that the entire cast snoops71 2-19-05, 03:36 AM The ridiculous Beavis and Butthead. What was the purpose of them??? :irked: Jefferson Starship 2-19-05, 10:23 AM Beavis: You suck Butthead: I suck Beavis & Butthead: huhuhuh!! so ridiculous!!! Mullet King 2-19-05, 07:28 PM Jabber Jaws I hate that f!@#ing shark. Still cruisin' 2-19-05, 08:01 PM Are you guys forgetting about that sugar coated crap known as Strawberry Shortcake? That was so sickenning. Or those stupid Care Bears. AngelicR 2-20-05, 12:22 AM Are you guys forgetting about that sugar coated crap known as Strawberry Shortcake? That was so sickenning. Or those stupid Care Bears. I loved both of those shows. In fact, they were my favorite. Smiles. ;) snoops71 2-22-05, 01:53 AM I loved both of those shows. In fact, they were my favorite. Smiles. ;) Me too! :) I LOVED Strawberry Shortcake! I also loved all of her little friends, like Orange Blossom and Lemon Meringue (sp?) My sister was more into the Care Bears than I was, but I thought they were cute. :) Dorothy_Zbornak 2-22-05, 10:12 AM Scrappy Doo and Brainy Smurf!!! Didn't you just want to choke the life out of them??? I swear to God that Brainy Smurf was modelled after a girl in my class in elementary school - same voice, glasses, know-it-all attitude with the ego to match... *shudder* My vote for most annoying cartoon character has to be King Gorneesh's wife from the Ewoks cartoon. Her voice was soooooooo shrill as to make Roseanne sound demure. Just listening to her speak gave me an instant headache. Princess 2-22-05, 12:13 PM Suprised to see so many people don't like Beavis and Butthead.. I love those guys since they 1st came out and still laugh my tush off anytime I see them  I have all their dvd's :thumb: And South Park too :yesnod: Oh, and Ren and Stimpy  Getting back to the topic... I didn't like Gargamel and Azriel from the Smurfs... Although I love the Smurfs, those guys were just plain mean... jaineytroll 4-11-05, 05:14 PM I'm trying to remember the cartoon that had "Bumblelion" and the others. I had the bumblelion stuffed animal, but looking back on it I think that was the most anoying cartoon. Darkanian 4-12-05, 12:40 PM The one that irritated me the most was Snookums, from Snookums and Meat. :duh: lilchinagirl 4-12-05, 01:37 PM Scrappy-Doo was the worst. I kept hoping they'd accidentally run over him with the Mystery Machine! misterE 4-13-05, 02:12 PM I'm trying to remember the cartoon that had "Bumblelion" and the others. I had the bumblelion stuffed animal, but looking back on it I think that was the most anoying cartoon. That would be the Wuzzles. I think the most annoying cartoon characters ever were: Scooby Doo: every episode was the same- drive along in the Mystery Machine until one of the characters notices something strange, they go to investigate, run away from the "monsters" (I never understood why they did this, since they always unmasked someone in the end who was behind the whole thing), solve the mystery, scooby eats a scooby snack, Velma says "jinkies", I roll my eyes at another 30 minutes wasted, the end. King of the Hill: Should be called King of the Hicks. I thought my life was so empty without a show that woud take me behind the scenes of the life of a propane salesman in Texas, so thank goodness Mike Judge created it! Beavis and Butthead got more chuckles out of me than this festering load of crap, and B and B was so stupid sometimes it was funny, whereas all other times it was just plain stupid. Care Bears: my parents knew better than to buy me a Care Bear, because I was always rooting for the Apathy Armadillos, the Care Bear's sworn enemies. Those are the three that make me cringe the most. Spongebob and Captain Planet made honorable mention. jaineytroll 4-15-05, 12:23 AM That would be the Wuzzles. I look at Bumblelion and think "What a Dangerous creature". I would either be bit or stung. Yea! :violin: blzbub 4-15-05, 03:53 AM Scrappy-Doo was the worst. I kept hoping they'd accidentally run over him with the Mystery Machine! Oh I agree. Whenever I see the name Scrappy Doo, I hear da da da DA da DAAAA PUPPY POWER!! in my head. Make it stop *cries* |
