Hey. When I went to see "Heartbreakers" there was a coming attraction about a movie with some goofy guy who always listens to 80s music. It was kinda aggrivating. They made him look pretty stupid listening to the music and singing to it while somebody in the car was going crazy because he hated it. What the heck movie is this?

Whoa! I haven't heard of that one yet. It sounds extremely irritating. http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//00sick.gif

Face it, most movies nowdays do suck. If you are lucky you might get one really good one a year.

The last movie I saw in theaters was "The Ladies' Man", released in the hectic time that was October of 2000http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//wink.gif
I liked that movie, but it's still sad that I haven't been to the movies in a little over half-a-yearhttp://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//frown.gif
I'm even more bummed about the writer's strikes. I'm an unofficial reporter for that crisis over on another board I frequent. I ain't looking forward to all these strikes. A sea of reality TV is not for me.
Enjoy this Summer's batch of movies...after the leaves start falling, I see nothing but rereleases.
Well, that could be good! Strike up new prints of "The Breakfast Club" and "Beverly Hills Cop", plus whatever other 80s movies you've got, and maybe this strike won't be that bad.
Either way, the movie I *definitely* want to see this summer is "Shrek". I hear that this movie really rips the Walt Disney Company a new one (It's produced by Dreamworks, and getting great buzz. The execs at the Mouse House can't be too pleased about that).
Sincerely,
