Iluvthe80's brought up an interesting topic: "What books did you read that were made into 80's films".

Well one of the books that I recently read was made into the 80's film called "Lifeforce". The film itself was basically okay but it only hinted at the greatness of this novel. The book not only tells a frightening tale about bloodthirsty aliens but presents a spellbinding philosophy about the human condition.

If you ever get a chance to read it, please do so. I highly recommend it. You' ll find it more rewarding than the film itself.
