Hey Y'all,

Does anyone remember this Hanna-Barbera delight? Was this cartoon a semi-spoof on "Charlie's Angels"?

"Captain CaveMAAAAANNNNN!"

I used to love Captain Caveman. The Teen Angels were cute and they called Captain "Cavey" for short.... "Oh, Cavey, you're so cute!!!". I even liked Captain Caveman's son, Cavey Jr...

Yes Wonder Twin, I knew you'd know the yell Cavey did! And I completely forgot about Cavey, Jr.!

Now that I think about it, this became a trend in cartoons I didn't care for at times, once that cartoon had been on for a while the felt the need to vamp it up by adding a younger character to the mix, e.g. Scrappy-Doo, Cavey, Jr., Baby Plas, etc...Eventually, it ruins the show, for me at least. :(

Captain Caveman was a fun show to watch:) I always liked it when he started to sputter out and crash into just about anything:D

I agree with you completely, Trix. I never understood why the cartoon makers felt the need to add an annoying baby character to the scene. For example, what was the purpose of The Muppet Babies? I never really got that...

I loved Captain Caveman. I use to mimic him all the time. I broke my moms broom to use the handle as my weapon.

Muppet Babies sucked!!!
