For me this movie summed up the whole mood of the Eighties; Ronald Regan's Star Wars, the "Evil Empire" of Russia, "No Nukes" buttons and Stings "Do The Russians Love Their Children To?" it was....

The Day After

That movie scared the living poop out of me! It was on Lifetime or USA recently and I couldn't even consider watching it. Heebie Jeebies just thinking about it!

Yah! I remembet that movie causing a big stir. They had phone lines set up so people could call in and make sure it was just a movie. Then there were the channels that wouldn't even show it. To them I say - http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//tongue.gif
