My girlfriend rented this one for us. I think she thought it was a comedy. She was pretty shocked when that scene came on where Chris Rock was ripping some guys scalp off! haha! That was too funny for me... She was surprised! I never got to watch the end, anyway...

I wish I had seen this thread before I rented it. I thought it would be a good movie because of Morgan Freeman - I can't believe he would put himself in that kind of a role.

Some parts were okay but I wish I had waited for it to come out on tv. :)

I saw the previews and they did not look that spectacular to me. That is one of the things I like about in here. I can read everyone's reviews before I waste money to rent the video. I will listen to all of your opinions anyday before I will listen to a movie critic.

I must have a twisted sense of humor because I thought this movie was funny. :D

I think he took the money and ran on this one :rolleyes:

My absolute favorite Morgan Freeman role was in the Shawshank Redemption. I also think this was the best interpretation of a Stephen King story.
