Hi all. I've been noticing that lots of people from YL have been signing up here. I'd like to know who you are so I can welcome you to our side of the 80's web.. I think it's very cool to know there are other already-formed groups of 80's fans out there who haven't met us.

As you have probably already noticed, we're a pretty close family here. This is a truely unique community that's more than just an internet experience. I encourage you all to let your friends know about 80sxchange.com so that we can all meet new friends...

Sal, I'm not sure wether or not the YL'ers still come to the Xchange, I've only seen a few of them post in the last week, many of them seem to have disappeared :confused:

Anyway, I'd also like to say welcome to the lot of you :D

Too true Smurf. I was just talking with a couple other xchangers about this today. The YLer's have all seemed to disappear except maybe a couple of them. :confused: I hope to see them return with some possible new xchangers! :thumb:

I was thinking that maybe they returned to the YL forum, maybe the flame war is over, this was the reason they abondoned it and found the 80sxchange. I think they'll stop by again, anyway who could resist the 80sxchange?! :thumb:

Really, Trixter!! I was beginning to like some of them, too...the ones I was getting to know. I was hoping they'd consider themselves Xchangers and stick around.

*looking up* Thanks Sal, and thanks you guys! I appreciate that. :) Ever since I signed up, I've considered myself a part of the family here. I LOVE it here, so don't worry -- you won't be able to get rid of me that easily. :lol: It wasn't so much because of YL that inspired me to sign up...I just happen to really love the 80s and this was the perfect place to park my feet!

It's kinda funny that y'all mentioned the other YLers because I haven't seen many of them posting around here, except me, Jeff and Juggie -- which stinks. Had me wondering, too. Maybe they'll find their way back here, and stick around.

I was able to meet Val J and TC, plus a few others a few weeks ago, and they were great! :)

I haven't been online very much because I'm working alot. In fact I had to get up at 5:10am this morning to work in a different city and I didn't arrive home until shortly after 10:00pm tonight. I've been up since 4:00am, for some reason I woke up too early and I couldn't get back to sleep before the alarm went off...ARGH!! Don't you hate it when that happens!!!I have been up almost 24 hours. YIPEE!! It will suck if I'm called into work this morning! :vibrator:
Oh well. I'm not going to complain about getting work, it's better than not getting any at all!!

I love the 80's and I enjoy this site!!! :cool:

Unfortunately, most seem to have departed from here already...too bad too...they were fitting in quite nicely...

Ok I'm aware of that web site but I haven't gone back there in a long time. Never knew they had a message board. Didn't really look around.

I get it now...
