Does anybody remember "Nick Kamen - Each Time You Break My Heart"? Seems like I liked this song, but I can't find a song smaple on the Internet to confirm that it's the song I'm thinking of. Does anyone know where I could sneak a listen to a sample of this song?

Have you tried : audiogalaxy.com? If so, then I'm sorry Greenway, I don't know where you could find a sample.
But maybe this information may help you find it online somewhere.

The song "Each Time You Break My Heart" was produced by Madonna and Stephen Bray and Madonna sings backing vocals along with Siedah Garrett. The song was off of Nick Kamen's 1987 Sire/Warner Bros. Records album, titled 'Nick Kamen'. The album # is: 1-25574 and the 12" single for "Each Time You Break My Heart" is: 0-20632.

I hope this can help you out in some way! :)

I actually liked most of Nick's stuff. I have a few 12" singles, but I can't think of any other songs than Each Time. He had a pretty cool voice. :)

The scuttlebutt goes that Madonna and Nick had a brief affair, which lead to Madonna producing and singing back up vocals on "Each Time You Break My Heart", which went to No. 1 on the British charts. Oh, the power of Madonna! Nick's first big break came by appearing on a popular Levi jeans commercial that aired on British television... :)

Too true Triv! Didn't a similar instance happen between Nick Scotti and Madonna, with the single "Get Over"? She sang back-up on that song as well and helped Mr. Scotti promote it as well.

Also, on the backside of the "Each Time You Break My Heart" 12" single, there is a great photo of Madonna and Nick Kamen in the studio at a soundboard, looking very tired and frustrated!

I also have to admit that 'Each Time' wasn't a bad single.

I also liked the other famous 'Nick' UK one hit wonder from 1986, Nick Berry's 'Every Loser Wins'

Unfortunately for Nick Scotti, the Madonna touch didn't turn to gold for him! But he did star briefly on my favorite soapie, The Young and the Restless!!! :D

Too creepy Wonder Twin, we have a lot of the same faves, but we both already knew that! :)

Too bad indeed for Mr. Scotti, but I think he had the better voice of the two. :thumb:
