Roxy Music and Bryan Ferry are one of my all time favourite bands. So name your favourite 80's Roxy/Ferry tune!

I voted for the hauntingly beautiful "Slave to Love"; I just love that song! But, I also enjoy "More Than This" and "Avalon" as well! I think Bryan Ferry had one of the most beautiful voices of any era!!! :)

I voted for More Than This, even though I love Slave To Love and Avalon. More Than This just has some really cool memories attached to it for me. :)

Good choice VioletFoxx, that was my choice too!

Just about as close to musical perfection as you can get I reckon.

I remember when I first heard Bryan Ferry on the radio, I couldn't believe how much he sounded like David Bowie.

More than this, although I really like "Kiss and tell" for his solo efforts

I love them all, but I voted for "More Than This" because DJ did.:p j/k. I actually never read the replies before I vote.

I voted for Avalon - but all the other songs are great too. Roxy Music/Bryan Ferry had such a great "mood" in their songs, that just left me dreaming at the time :) Well, they still do when I listen to them ;)

I went with More Than This. I can't believe Kiss and Tell isn't in this poll (only song to make US charts in 80s)

Beg pardy about 'Kiss and Tell' being omitted. Only a minor hit for Bryan in the UK chart in 1988, and not as successful as 'Don't Stop The Dance' or 'Slave To Love'.

But agreed, a very good song indeed!

I've voted "same old scene" (why I've been the only one?); I think the LP "Flesh + Blood" was the best of Roxy Music. My second place is for "Slave to love".
I've always considered Bryan Ferry the most "elegant" singer -as a male version of Sade.

You forgot the other option!
"Do The Strand" was the best followed by "Virginia Plain"!
Sure it's 70's music, but their older stuff was the better!

I enjoyed the earlier Roxy era with Bryan Eno, but overall was not a real fan of glam-rock.

Slave To Love got my vote. Bryan Ferry's voice is great no matter what song he sings.

I voted for More Than This. Bryan sounds so cool and sexy. :) :)

I think Guancho is right when he calls Bryan Ferry the elegant singer, like a male version of Sade. I could not have said that better myself.

"Oh yeah" is my favourite song, unfortunatley there is no possibility to vote "other".

Out of the choices given, I voted for, "More Than This" with "Slave To Love" coming in second. However, I REALLY love "Like A Hurricane" :)
