I think he's (that punk down in my signature) going (or I hope) to do back stage work for my drama club's production. That's how I actually met (not saw in the hallway) him. Well last night was the first tech rehearsal. We had a conversation so lame and I think he got a wrong idea about me.

Everyone says "just tell him how you feel", but you all know I can't do that. A preppy lookin (only lookin note) doll doesn't walk up to a punk and say "hey ya wanna go out?" *shyness kicks in now*

I've been putting notes in his locker since a week after Valentine's Day. Nothing happens. A bunch of my poetry's still in there, I think he hasn't found it yet. He's got the kinda locker that when you open it, things attack you.

Why don't you talk to him about music, find out what his favourite bands are, find out if he's interested in any of your music that he hasn't got, offer to make him a compilation tape/CD, stick a note or a poem in with that.

"Do you have any knick names?" Dan asks.

"Yeah, my brother and friends call me Shortie Blonde." I say.

"Shortie with an 'ie'?" Dan asks. He grins.:D He pulls my last note out of his pocket. Miss Benetto comes over to see how Dan's doing. I am like silent and I shake.

"Come here a lot?" (???) Dan asks. :D "You sent me on a wild goose chase! No one could figure out who Shortie Blonde was."

"It was my friend's idea." I say. Always blame your friends. It's a rule in my world.

" Take a seat." Dan shoves on of his many chairs over to me. "I like your poetry. You're really good." Dan says. "Why are you afraid to talk?"

"I'm really shy." Soon after, the plays over. I go tell my friend all this, and I escape. Don't even make me think about monday morning in school. I have to walk by him to get to my locker. :eek:

Congratulations Shortie! It gets easier! You sent him on a wild goose chase, that's great.

I wore my Clash shirt one day for drama just to get a comment from him and I did get one. One day actually he was standing directly in the middle of the hallway (it was morning, he didn't give a shit) talking to a friend right next to my locker. I was tempted by hearing stories from about the time they grabbed on to Billy Idol's leg at a concert when they were 16 years old. I swear to god that I almost grabbed on to his leg and I tell ya, I woulda held on for my life. :D

TGND that sooo sweet!!!!!!!! Awwwwww!!!!!! My real brother still sticks up for me, has since the first day of kindergarden. Computer nerd or not, somewhere in his computer coded head (and linux obsessed head) he still cares. :lol: Don't tell him I said that!
