Hey Y'all,

I've been listening to Cher at work today and realized that no one has done a poll on this living legend! I'm going to add "The Shoop Shoop Song", I know it's from 1990, but it's on the cusp and such a great tune! :thumb: So here it goes, get out there and vote! :)

Anywhoo, I voted for If I Could Turn Back Time. I can't believe you didn't include her cover of Walking In Memphis! That's such a great version of an already great song! Guess I'm just picky. :)

Well, I love all the songs listed (what else is new?)!!! I eventually voted for "We All Sleep Alone", because of Cher's amazingly heart-breaking voice in this song!!! :)

I voted for other because there was wasnt a vote for NONE OF HER SONGS. sorry, I dont care for her songs at all. just my humble opinion.:yucky:

I voted for "If I Could Turn Back Time", but I also really like "Walking In Memphis" and "Gypsys, Tramps, and Thieves". :D Cher is great!

What a great sexy voice Cher has. Can't say I'm a big fan, but she still looks great and sounds great.

The Shoop Shoop Song was a close second for me.

I had to go with "other" since there was a song not mentioned. I can't think of the name of the song, but I think it came from the movie "Moonstruck"(?) starring Cher and Winona Ryder. Some song having to do with kisses. "If I Could Turn Back Time" would be a close second.

I forgot to vote on this, I went with "After All" this is easily her best song from the 80's!! :thumb:

If I Could Turn Back Time. That's one of the few older Cher songs I like.

Just Like Jesse James, the song that got me to buy the "Heart of Stone" album.
I got it when it 1st came out, when the cover was a painting of Cher and a heart of stone which from a distance looks like a skull.

I found someone is my fav. I think her voice is terrific in that one!

If I could turn back time is such a happy and bouncy song.

The video was a lot of fun too. She looked great in that video. So did the sailors. :) :)

Maybe it's just that I've always been a sucker for a duet pop ballad, but I've always liked "After All". Definitely one of the more interesting voice combos ever in a duet.

As far as my favorite song by Cher goes, as a soloist it is "Just Like Jessie James." However, I think my overall favorite is "After All" - the duet she did with Peter Cetera. Actually, these 2 are tied for my all-time favorites by her, but I could only vote for one on this poll and I voted for "Just Like Jessie James."

I chose Jesse James! I love that song, but it was hard to choose between it and If I could turn back time! That song is awesome too. I love so many of Cher's songs so I could have also picked many from the "other" category too. :thumb:

It wasn't "tecnically" a Cher song, but she sang a duet with Meatloaf in 1981 called Dead Ringer For Love. It was a HUGE hit pretty much everywhere but North America :bigcry:
