For those out there who have been living in a closet, today marks the 20th anniversary of the death of John Lennon. Unlike the gen-x hero Curt Cobain, Lennon's passing was more tragic, as it was not his own decision. He left music that will still be loved centuries from now, and we can only wonder what would have happened had he not died. A Beatles reunion would have been glorious....

So...here's to you John...I hope you have Bonzo and Eric on drums, Janis & Freddie singing a duet, Jimi and Randy playing guitar alongside of you, and the boys from Lynard Skynard backing you up.

Peace,
Pagan

I was only a few years old when John Lennon had died. I never knew much about him but I do remember the world coming to a stop when it happened. The atmosphere almost felt like we were at war...

Well I wasn't even born when he died, but I do know what his death ment to many people. It's a little freaky though, in english class we are reading Catcher in the Rye, which is the book the man who killed him had in his hand when he was found.

Oh, and by the way, Kurt Cobain didn't kill himself, Cortney Love killed him.
