My favorite Robert Palmer song is "Addicted To Love", because it was #1 the day I was born. (Oh, and the song's great too.) ;)

My vote went to his Power Station tune, "Get It On (Bang a Gong)", which was a great remake of a T. Rex classic. Plus the video featured Bond Girl transexual Tula!!! :lol:

I love lots of Robert Palmer songs such as "Bad Case Of Loving You", "Clues", and "Sneaking Sally Through The Alley", but I voted for "Some Like It Hot" from his Powerstation days. That, to me, was one of the greatest 80's project bands.

I believe that's GET It On (Bang A Gong).

I chose other - that being 'Woke Up Laughing' from his album 'Addictions Volume 1'.

I have 'Addictions Vol 1 and 2' and they are a must for any Palmer fan. The main thing I like about Robert is his versatility across the musical spectrum - you name it he's done it. Reggae, Rock, Hard Rock, Pop, New Wave.

Interesting you should mention that song Guancho. I've got Robert Palmers Video Addictions, and during it he mentions that 'Johnny And Mary' was a total flop in the US but turned out to be one of his biggest hits in the UK.

He could never quite understand why and neither could I - one of his greatest songs IMHO!
