I read a small article in the newspaper that FOX Entertainment will be bringing back some old Sci-Fi shows. Most of the shows are from the 70's I think but you may have seen them in reruns during the 80's. FOX also plans on doing new movies of these shows for theater release.
The shows are:
TIME TUNNEL Which is about two guys who are scientists that travel through time. Each mission is monitored by other scientists from a lab who can see what is happening by viewing a holographic image on the Time Tunnel. Think of it as StarGate XG1 but much better!
VOYAGE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA This show was about a submarine called the SEAVIEW. This sub was more like a spaceship in its design. The crew deals with aliens and deep sea creatures. After the first or second year of the show they introduced the FLYING SUB. This thing had a unique design, had room for 4 people and could fly like a jet from the belly of the Seaview, out of the ocean and fly into the skies. This show was originally a motion picture starring Walter Pigeon before becoming a tv series. AWESOME
LOST IN SPACE The movie that came out in theaters a couple of years ago was based on this tv series. CAMPY
LAND OF THE GIANTS The adventures of a group of people who crashland on a planet inhabited by giants. This show was pretty wild. It was fun to see the tools that they used like taking a safety pin and using it as a grappling hook for climbing. They not only had the giants to worry about but cats, spiders and other creatures. FUN
