View Full Version : The Osbourne's...a Reminder!
This is a reminder to watch MTV tomorrow night at 10:30pm EST for the premiere episode of "The Osbourne's"
Take a look at the life of Ozzy & his family at home. This should be a gutbuster!
Roemello 3-04-02, 11:40 PM I saw the commercials for this while watching HEAT on Sunday...definitely looks like a riot  and it's on late enough for me to watch! :D
Iluvthe80s 3-04-02, 11:55 PM Thanks for the reminder, Sarg. I had forgotten it was on tomorrow. This should be a funny and interesting show.:D

This is really nothing new. There was a TV show in the early 90's called " Normal Life" which chronicled the life of a rock stars' family. In fact it was originally going to focus on musician Frank Zappa. But the networks watered-down the show to the point where the premise became nonexistent. The shows was ultimately cancelled after a few episodes.
Thanks for the reminder Sarg, I actually thought I missed it! I thought it was on Monday night!
I read an article about the show in 'Entertainment Weekly' about how Ozzy's dealing with his daughters liking of N'Sync and having to take her to a concert of theirs, etc....can you imagine?? If the show chronicles stuff like this, I'm sure it'll be a riot!!
Thanx for the reminder Sarg....but how could ANYONE forget Uncle Ozzy was on tonight!
Did you get the video yet?
80sTrivia 3-05-02, 09:39 AM I've seen the ads on MTV promoting The Osbournes and it looks hilarious!!! I'm going to have to tune in and view the madness!!!
I am so looking forward to this. It ought to be a riot!
angeleyes25 3-05-02, 10:03 PM I'm waiting for it to come on as we speak.40 more minutes and counting. This should be fun.
ImSoooSure 3-06-02, 08:43 PM So how was this??? I dont get MTV and I'm so bummed. Anybody who watched please post a message about it. :)
I was amused at it. Ozzy is just inherently funny, but seeing him doddering around the house trying to figure out the remote control so he can watch the History channel is funny in a sort of tragic way.:p It's not the most riveting thing on TV, but I liked it.
angeleyes25 3-07-02, 12:10 AM I liked it also but next weeks episode looks better, with the dogs going to the bathroom on everything.Ozzy said that noone will by the house if they ever want to sell it because there's crosses all over the place,I'm like I would by it!I really like his house I really like crosses too and I like that gothic look to the house as a matter of fact if it was me the house would look ever more gothic like then it does now.
Here's something funny....I sent out the reminder to watch the show and then "I" forgot to watch it!
Luckily, MTV repeated it tonight at 6:30pm EST so I did get to see it.
I laughed my ass off while Ozzy was fiddling around with that remote, and angeleyes is right, next weeks episode is going to be hilarious.
"I love you all. I love you more than life itself....but you're all f**king mad!"
LOL Pagan! I thought that part was funny, too... Those kids cuss like crazy, too!! I guess I'm not suprised
Poor Sharon.. she is the only sane one in the house!!
Next weeks episode is gonna be hilarious!!
Nikki_91 3-07-02, 10:20 AM I loved this show!!! I have been anxiously awaiting for it to come on and it was well worth it! I loved seeing him try to work the remote control, his wife was hilarious when she was unpacking the stuff and it was broken. Oh, what about their security guard, poor guy didn't look like he understood Ozzie's performance on Jay's show. Did you see the look on his face watching the show? Ha
It is coming back on Saturday night.. if anyone missed it.

The article below about "The Osbournes" first episode was on CDnow's Allstar News yesterday March 7,2002
