What has happened to them?They were one of my fave groups from the '80's.Last I heard is that the lead married the woman & they are still doing music & the other guy is doin his thing aside from the two.Any new info on one of the best groups of the '80's?

Last year I actually searched the Internet wondering the same thing and was quite surprised to learn that they had never split up as such.

Tom Bailey and Alannah Currie (A New Zealander) have continued to work together and in 1993 changed their name to Babble becoming more of a Techno Dance band. They continued on untill about 1999

The latest I have heard is that Tom Bailey is now a successful music producer in New Zealand and is in fact producer of a band named "Stellar" that has won several awards and has had a few hits down here.

I have quite a few MP3's of the Babble and Stellar stuff if anyone is intrested in hearing them? Here is a couple of pics of Tom with the band Stellar.

Yeah it's him alright...I was kinda surprised at how well he has aged myself. It's weird when you havent seen a hero in 20 years and suddenly there is a site with a link saying heres Tom Bailey...kinda like knocking on an old relatives door.

Are Tom Bailey and Allanah still together? A number of years ago, I saw them on a "Where Are They Now?" special on VH-1, and the two were living together in a magnificent hillside home in beautiful New Zealand. The Thompson Twins were one of my fave acts back in the 80s, and I agree that Tom has aged well from looking at the photographs you posted, Footloose! :)

Great NW group. In fact, the de-facto IMHO. It would be cool to see them do a reunion soon.

Well, I couldn't find anything about a reunion but I did find this:
The Thompson Twins classic 1983 album Quickstep And Sidekick has been
remastered and will be reissued on Sept. 27th featuring 4 bonus tracks.

Tom & Allannah are indeed divorced now and no longer reside in New Zealand (they both live in different parts of England now). From what I've heard it was quite a bitter divorce. They were divorced in 2003.

That's sad news. :(
