Okay, Whitefish/COD sucks as far as fish goes. But it can be salvaged if prepared correctly. I would cover it with lime and lemon juice, garlic salt and a very small dusting of paprika, and broil it until it starts to brown.

That is the best advice for whitefish. It is a VERY bland fish, with hardly no flavor, so the seasoning must enhance it.
