What is your favorite Flock Of Seagulls song? Mine would have to be "Wishing (If I Had A Photograph Of You)".

I chose Wishing. I did like Space age love song and Telecommunication. I Ran was too overplayed. There was just something about the song Wishing that I could listen to it over and over again.

I went with (It's Not Me)Talking. Not only a great song, but a great video also.: :D

I voted for "Wishing"; I've liked that song ever since it came out. They've only started to play it on the radio in the last couple of years. Up til then it was always "I Ran". Another good song, just overplayed (as has been remarked).

Wishing is such a haunting song and is one of my all time favorites.

Had to go with "I Ran" While it did get over played it still epitomizes the 80s an being a keyboard player I got a real kick out of the video! Also is it just me or did the guitar part in that song sound an awful like a Budweiser commercial that use to run on the radio during that time? I'd love to have a recording of that! It was a 2min or so instumental that rocked!

I've voted for Wishing. I like this -for me- hypnotic melody...

I voted for the way too overplayed "I Ran". I still love it anyways.

I voted for 'I Ran' even though the video gave me nightmares the after the first time I saw it.

Good poll, Stacy. I voted for I Ran although it could have been Wishing. Both are great songs.

The sappy side of me adores "Space Age Love Song"...but the nostalgic in me has to vote for "I Ran" - if there is one image that will stay with me to my grave about 80s New Wave, it's the "I Ran" Video.:cool:

I ended up voting for I Ran because it has such a great chorus.

I picked "Space Age Love Song"- reminds me of my first "boyfriend". "Wishing" certainly is a close second, though.

I too voted for "I Ran" and like a few people I also think "Space Age Love Song" is a very close second.

I have made a remix of "I Ran" which, at the risk of blowing my own trumpet, (we tend to cut down 'tall poppies' here in Australia!) I really like! I have added a phasing effect to an instrumental part of the track which gives the effect of being drunk or prehaps stoned! The music seems to "come out at you" at that point.

I was disappointed with the video clip though. A bit ordinary, and it failed to show off Mike Score's haircut! On the other hand, the clip for "Space Age Love Song" showed the reverse mullett or owl cut perfectly.

tough choice, but i gotta go with "nightmares", with it's haunting melody, although "wishing" and "the more you live" are close behind. i also quite like their obscure single "heartbeat like a drum". i don't think that one even made their greatest hits LP!

I'll go with their cover of Madonna's "This Used To Be My Playground." They have such a cool guitar sound!

I Ran, And Space age Love Song were my first encounter with the group, DNA and Tellecomunication were good as well. Wishing was the big hit here in the UK, Its not me talking had my fave video and nightmares was the not-a-hit that i really liked. Afterwards they went off a bit, Living in Heaven and Remember David being the outstanding (well for me) tracks of the 3rd LP, then they really seemed to have lost it somehow after that.

Im a big fan of "telecommunication". I like "I ran" and "space age love song",but they're played too much at times."wishing"(I had a photograph of you) is pretty good too.

They did sooooo many great songs. But I voted for Other - The More You Live, The More You Love.

I couldn't believe that 'Telecommunication' didn't do better here, because it's become my favorite song of theirs, especially the Wayne Hussey remix that was released in the late 90's. Very catchy song.
