Saturday morning cartoons have infectious theme songs that we ALL sang along with at one time or another, so what were your favorites:

I liked all the cartoon themes that you mentioned, Trixter. I'll just add one more, which was my personal favorite theme song, which was for The Littles. It had a New Wave beat to it and I always used to hop up and dance to it when the cartoon came on... :rolleyes: :lol:

Remembering Transformers easily, but I may think of more. Was the Robotix TV ad music also used as the show's theme?

The little part the Misfits get in the theme song to Jem is amusing.

I particularly loved the theme for Fang Face (Who not many people seem to remember)

But I have to give a special mention to that old classic everyone knows the words to "The Flintstones".

The only thing is I just can't bring myself to sing the line "We'll have a gay old time". So I've changed it to "We'll have a great old time".

another one i like is ROGER RAMJET

when ramjet takes his proton pill the crooks begin to worry...as roger ramjet and his friends get all the crooks they're after....roger ramjet he's our man, hero of our nation........

Hoyt Curtin is my hero among TV composers... take a look at his IMDB (http://us.imdb.com/Name?Curtin,+Hoyt+S.) listing and see how many cartoon themes he was responsible for. (Jonny Quest, Flintstones, all the H-B greats!) He was truly a genius, and he was also a genuinely nice person, who was so much help to me when I started my Wildfire site. (he was the musical director/orchestrator for my favorite show) I'm going to put a tribute page on my site sometime this year.

Ulysses 31 had a great theme song in Spanish. A lot of the background music in that series was great to listen to.

She-Ra! Funny. I went to see the She-Ra movie at the theatres when it came out back in '85 or '86 :D

I have it on VHS, I just love She-ra.

I had forgotten about the Snork's theme song! I caught an episode on Boomerang a few months ago. You're right, galaga; it was indeed an underwater version of the Smurfs! :lol:
