Does anyone remember playing a silly game called "Poor, Poor Kitty"? Whenever my cousins were at my house, we would play this goofy game. The object of the game was that you would have to act like a cat, rubbing up against someone and meowing and purring. The other person had to pet you on your head three times and say "poor, poor Kitty" each time without laughing. Like I said, silly game!!! Does anyone else remember playing any other goofy childhood games?

We used to play a game called...."If you love me, you will smile". A girl would go up to a boy...snuggle next to him and say...
"Darling...if you love me, you will smile". There was no tickling allowed. and the boy would try not to smile. Then, the next round, it was the boys turns.
Any one else ever play Kick the Can?

And TC...bet this "Poor, Poor Kitty" is still your favourite game to play...but instead of laughing... :eek: :p

We used to play a very violent version of soccer with a tennis ball. There was only one rule...no rules. Everything was allowed, from just pushing the opponent away to some very personal tacklings... :eek:
No wonder we looked like returning from a battlefield when this game was over, after 2 or three hours... ;)

I use to play outside all the time, we would make up games. My favorite was
Make Me Laugh...
Kids now a days just sit in the house and are entertained with the video games. I try and explain those games to my kids but they just stare at me like i am weird and just continue playing their video games.

When I was little me and my brotehr made up alota games and made other people play them but, without telling them all the rules.......so we always won. lol see I was always a brat. :) We still play this one game called "War" it's mainly me VS. my brother and whoever is over........and we go to different sides of the yard and whip whatever we can find at eachother and we always come back VERY hurt. lol I used to play make me laugh untill this one kid to make us laugh......he pulled his pants down and jacked it! I was like 10 and I never played it again! lol

LOL I remember my brother and I use to steal all the pillows and couch cushions in the house and we throw them all at the bottom of the stairs. We'd see who could jump the highest off the top stairs make up some stupid pose in mid air and land on the pillows... lol sorta like freestyle skateboardin.
Then we'd get yelled at by my Dad cause he want to watch sports on tv but he couldn't sit down cause we had all the cushions lol :p

Other than that though, the only things I really remember playing were kickball in the lot behind our apartment complex and freeze tag.

My friends and used to have stare-downs all the time. The object of course was to make the other person laugh. You had to keep contact and keep from smiling. If you even smirked you lost.
