Hi everyone! Just sitting here and a few 80s things came to mind Zips shoes, the commerical had kids making a "Z" in the dirt. Did'nt they also have a zipper pocket on the side of them? Maybe that was another shoe Reebok white high tops. The ones that had the 2 thin verlco straps near the ankle? I had the generic ones, but they lookes exact except no name on them.http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//frown.gif Two haircuts, You would almost buzz the sides of your hair usually to the brow then hairspray sides back for major wing effect remember like Lisa Lisa of Cult Jam. Oncewhen I did this my sides were to the skin I had only stubble.so I used brown eyeshadow to fill in my hair (the genious that I was) haha http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//biggrin.gif The otherone was when we were all wearing tails you know cutting hair short but leaving 1in. wide sections long to braid. The cool girls had both the shaved sides and long braided tails and wore name brand Reebok hightops.http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//tongue.gif Im sure more will come to me later for now I need to get to sleep.

Oh man, I miss the old 80's Reeboks. The leather was so soft. I think they were the most comfortable tennis shoe I have ever had.

As for the hair styles? The 80's were so cool for hair styles... This was my pattern: Pre-Footloose - Feathered (Part in the middle), Footloose Era - Ren style cut (short and spikey on top), Post Footloose - back to feathering. That lasted until the days of the metal Gods (Skid Row, Guns and Roses, Poison, Cinderella) and I had to let my hair grow out.

In the early 80's, deck shoes were all the rage. Worn by fashionable girls with everything from jeans (designer, of course!) to those long below-the-knee plaid skirts.
