Most collectors would see Sylvian as having phased out completely with the decade but he is still there,with 3 new albums in as many years after years of silence or recording with the short lived Rain Tree Crow,which was no more than Japan under another name. I collect some of Sylvian's music because of the association with Virginia Astley in 1986:in fact Virginia inadvertemtly created the rarest Sylvian recording,only available on a CD with his name via couple of bootlegs.
Anyway my mate is a Sylvian completist and has about 4000 different items.So anything he hasnt got he will pay daft money for. And there is one he's always on about which is the FRENCH VINYL of the Ist Japan album ADOLESCENT SEX. I know hed pay 3 figures. So anybody out there has access to it could make a killing. I would need to be notified on my email and I then hand it to him....I think he wants the ITALIAN Copy as well but they have to be vinyl . Me? I need more copies of Virginia's Sire album,in all formats

4000 items!!! That is very impressive. I always feel better around collectors like that. I have close to 150 New Order CDs. Reading about 4000 items makes me feel less obsessive. :)
