Hey Y'all,

Does anyone remember the Force MD's and their hit single "Tender Love"? Were they true 'One Hit Wonders' or did they have another single or hit?

I know they did some work with The Fat Boys, but other than that, I can't help.

The song OPC is talking about was called "The Fat Boys meet the Force MD's". It sampled the Gilligan's Island theme. Force MD's had many hits on the R&B charts but , alas, only one pop hit. One of the other great songs they had was "Here I go again". They were on Tommy Boy records who recently released a greatest hits package :)

PS The MD stood for Musical Diversity!

In fact, they have a greatest hits CD, which is awesome.

I totally remember this song.. I even remember the video.. they were sitting on the steps of an apartment building...

Classic tune... great melody that sticks in your head!
