For those who hadn't heard,Joey Ramone's solo album "Don't worry about me", will be out on Feb.19.I just recently heard a cut off the album(Joey's remake of "Wonderful World")and it rocks big time.Also the Ramones will be inducted into the Rock-n-Roll hall of fame this year.It's about time someone noticed what a ground breaking and important band the Ramone's where.

I also heard that the street outside CBGB's would be renamed Joey Ramone Boulevard. How freaking cool is that?

I heard that about the street too,I think it's great,though it's a shame that Joey had to die in order for people to see how great he was,but I guess it's like that for all great artists.

I know what you mean man. Woulda been great if he could have been around to enjoy it. Hell, they were/are the godfathers of american punk, you'd think someone besides the fans would have noticed! :mad:
