Hey Y'all,

This cartoon is another one that went to the big screen and, in my opinion, failed, but the cartoon rocked!! This is one of those cartoon's I'd never miss on Saturday mornings! :thumb: I had a crush on Josie. :D Did anyone else watch this music filled show? Which did you prefer, "Josie & The Pussycats" or "Josie & The Pussycats In Outer Space", or did you simply like both?

I loved Josie!!!! That was the coolest cartoon. I wanted to be in a band, so loved it. :)

Little known fact:

The group that provided music for the show, were a trio of women, one being Cheryl Ladd of "Charlie's Angels" fame. :thumb: Remember her short-lived singing career in the late 70's?

I have to confess, I never once saw Josie and the Pussycats as a kid. :( Wish I got Boomerang so I could catch it now!

I can't believe I'm replying to this a month after it was first posted, but here goes... lol

I loved Josie and the Pussycats, and I even had the underoos. You couldn't get me to take 'em off when I was a kid. This cartoon was so cool, and ranked right up there with Scooby Doo. :)

As for the movie version? Ehhh, it was...I don't know, just didn't work for me. I wish they had just left it alone, rather than making it into a movie. My feelings are the same for the movie version of Scooby Doo -- let it remain a classic cartoon!

Yes, the movie version sucked! I like the original version, while I didn't like the Outer Space version as much. I'd still watch it.
