"Smooth Operator" is my favorite Sade song.

No Ordinary Love, for sure. It's sadly beautiful to listen too and has a very important lesson to be learned. It definately stays with me.

O.k. the only Sade song I heard of is Smooth Operator and I like it so I voted for that.I went to cdnow.com to sample the rest of the songs and I really don't like the rest of them.I guess it's just not my taste although maybe if I were to listen to them they might grow on me.

Hang on to your love... a good song I like as much as "smooth operator"; however it's not so well known. So I had to give it a chance...

I like Smooth operator the best too. The new live CD is so nice and relaxing. She has a wonderful voice and she is very pretty.

My favorite Sade song is "Your Love is King"..my second choice is "No Ordinary Love". She has such an amazing voice!

Well, I decided "The sweetest taboo" is my fave. Have a concert-DVD of her. She really is a great live performer.

echo that! i had ZERO tolerance for 'smooth operator' as a radio single. years later, i came to discover that "Diamond Life" is an *incredibly* good album (aural heaven). 'hang on to your love' is the strongest cut on that one, and would get my vote....

but, am i taking crazy pills? how has nobody mentioned 'by your side'? the only explanation i can come up with is that it is more recent than the creation of this poll/thread?!?!?!? maybe i gotta double check my 'scrip, but isn't that her ~signature~ song (of the modern sade)? if it were on the poll, it would get my vote. a picture might be worth a thousand words, but that tone/sound of the hook is worth 50K.

I saw Sade in Concert at the Pepsi Center in Denver just shortly after September 11th 2001 on her Lovers Rock tour and to this date, that concert was my #1 favorite concert I've ever been too. Smiles.

Smooth Opeator is the most recognizable when it comes on the radio, but I do so love "Your love is king". It's kinda what I feel about my hubby.
