Who else completely loved this show?
I have seen every episode of "Designing Women" thats been aired.
I've been an avid watcher and admirer of the show. Those four ladies, Julia, Suzanne, Mary-Jo, and Charlene had wonderful chemistry together! The show was hilarious, I've never laughed so uncontrolably at times. :) The show dealt with current social issues and really had something to say at times. Suzanne Sugarbaker is and will always be my favorite character. Shallow, self-centered, pig toting, southern Belle! :lol: You gotta love her! Sadly though, when Suzanne and Charlene left, the show was never that same. :( Still, I watched, in hopes of it getting better, but it never sustained it's past ferver with me. I still watch the reruns of "Designing Women" on Lifetime. Does anyone else care for this show?

I strarted watching it the last few years when it was on, the four original members were still there, yes I'll admit it was a funny show, it did loose something as most shows do when original cast members leave

I agree with Cal. :) After the new ones came on, it went downhill fast!

I love Designing Women. I watch the reruns everyday after work on lifetime. I like the older shows. My fav character was Charlene. Didn't care to much for julia duffys character ( think that's her name) Too stuck up for me. But I like the addition of carlene! She was really funny and goofy. Anthony was cool too! (when suzanne left, it just wasn't the same) She always seemed to be doin' somethin crazy and always dragging poor Anthony into it.

I can't get enough of this show. It's just so hilarious. But I must admit, the original cast was my favorite. I still watched but always missed Suzanne. She could get away with so much.

I've been a fan of Designing Woman since the show's initial run. Suzanne was my favorite character, so self-absorbed. The show was simply not the same when Delta Burke left. I couldn't stand the Julia Duffy character they brought in as a replacement... her character was far more annoying that the part of Stephanie she played on Newhart...

I LOVE Designing Women. My mom and I watched it every week. Now they show it every night after the news and she still watches it. I catch it every once and a while on the Lifetime network. Julia Sugerbaker is my favorite character, closely followed by Mary Jo Shively. :)

I have to agree Michael, Julia Duffy was obnoxious, not in Suzanne way, in the annoying way. Ya know what I mean? I really liked her as Stephanie on Newhart better!! :)

I love this show! I loved the comedic chemistry between Suzanne and Anthony..they were a riot together!!
