OK, so what the heck does this really mean? I like the song, but I never really got any profound meaning out of it, other than just that he's willing to be anything she wants him to be?

I always thought it was about sex. The word sledgehammer alone. It most be about sex or maybe a very confused construction worker. :vibrator:

Of course I know who he is silly:p I've just never heard this particular song that's all;)

I'm sure he was on Much Music a few years ago saying the song was about kicking his drug habit. Eventhough when I read the words it looks like sex to me also

It is talking about sex, that is why it is one of my favorite songs.
