Does anyone else remember this freestylin' artist? What happened to him? I remember and liked a couple of his songs, "Where Does That Leave Love" and "Without You". I really don't know much more about him though, can anyone help?

I certainly remember Mr. La Mond. I did like the song that he sang with Brenda K. Starr. I haven't seen or heard from him in years, though. Sal mentioned in the "Best Freestyle" poll that George is still performing and doing well...

He still plays in clubs. Basically all of his music after the first album was in Spanish - with the exeption of a few singles here and there.

If you liked the songs you mentioned, you should look for the other songs I listed. You will like them as well... There are a lot of really cool Freestyle Dance songs out there that came out of the mid to late 80s through the early 90s.. I often like to go on about how I now love 80s hair metal because it was always so up-spirited and fun. Well, Freestyle Dance is even more fun. It puts you in a good mood. Being that the artists usually only have one or two hits, it's very difficult to find the music.

If you'd like a good list of Freestyle songs, I could make one up for ya. :)
