Today after 12 years I got my Duran Duran Into The Arena board game back from my sister. This game came out around 1985. Did anyone have this game or still own it? Looking at it today really brought back memories. I think mine was bought at a Toys 'R Us in '85.

I don't remember this game at all. I would imagine it might be worth a bit of money after all these years, as long as it is in good shape...

Well, unfortunately my sister is a little rough on things. The box is beat up. I had to tape the corners back together today. All the pieces are there though and the board itself is in perfect condition. Since '85, I have only seen one more and it was at our bi-annual record convention we have here. I don't know how much the man wanted for it though.

I don't even remember seeing this game Stacy! How do you play it? I did see an 80s board game at FAO I believe it was. Has anyone played this one?

My friend Shazza has that game. But then again, I don't know ANYONE that loves Duran Duran as much as she does! :lol:

I haven't even attempted to play it since I got it back. It is sitting in the box on top of a bookshelf at the moment. I did read the directions one day to try to remember how to play it, but it seemed greek to me. Maybe that will be something to try to dig out for the 3 day weekend this weekend. ;)

I use to have one too. Never had a clue on how to play it. I would just sit there and daydream about John Taylor. Due to an apartment fire in '86, we lost everything we had.

Oh how sad about your fire! That's got to be so terrible to loose everything. :(

Things can always get replaced, but Thank God no one was home at the time. If I remember correctly, they said it started in the downstairs apartment. But I can't remember what caused it. The humor I found in it is that my school uniform was gone. Yesssssss, the uniform went bye-bye.
But like that saying " That which doesn't kill us, but only makes us stronger."( or something like that)

And here I thought I was the biggest DD fan out there! Now I KNOW I'm not....didn't even know there was a board game! Way cool to find that out! And I'm with Iloveknightrider....John Taylor was hot! IMHO, he still is! Loved him in the VH1 series about the rocker and the hotel suite...too funny! ;)
