Best Game Show Of The 80's?

I remember when I was younger, after dinner my dad, stepmom and uncle would get in teams and see who could guess the "phrase" first. We had a lot of fun. (me & unc RULED!!!):)

I went with "Wheel Of Fortune" because I used to watch that one. I never was much into game shows. I do love "Rock And Roll Jeopardy" that is out now. I still think I should be a contestant on that show.

I went with Joker's wild because The Match Game wasn't listed. I guess most of it's run was in the 70's.

I have never seen some of these shows and only a few have ever been played in New Zealand, mainly NZ made.

I have seen the Australian version of Family Feud and loved it, so I voted for that one.

I voted for "Press Your Luck". I just loved those Whammies! Especially the 80's artists Whammies, like Madonna, Michael Jackson and Boy George! It was pure 80's all the way!! :thumb:

I chose Jeopardy, as I don't usually watch game shows, but have always liked watching jeopardy

Wheel of Fortune!!! Every weeknight at 6:00.

I went with Jeopardy. Mostly because it's the one I like best now. lol ;) It does the double duty of proving how un-smart I am and teaching me something at the same time. :D

The only thing I like about the Price Is Right is the showcase showdown. I never did like the rest of it.

I loved Remote Control.I used to be pretty good at it too.I remember in the final round you had to guess videos that were on alot of t.v.'s at the same time.I used to have the game for nintendo and I used to play it all the time.I wish they would bring back that show.

Went with Wheel of Fortune....wasn't smart enough for Jeopardy in the 80's..way over my head :lol: Watching a chick turn letters and guessing words on a board was more on my level :lol:

In 1987 I was 14. So let me think, I could choose to watch that snappy dresser Alex Trebeck or I could watch Marisol and Carri. Its no contest, Remote Control Rules.

It had everything. Sing along with Colin, Beat the Bishop, Laughing Guy, the Craftmatic Adjustable Bed, Stud Boy, PLUS Marisol in year one and Carri in year two.

It had questions you could answer with prizes you wanted.

After Carri left, RC took a nose dive. That was the turning point for me and MTV. It went downhill from THAT VERY MOMENT!

I had to go with Wheel of Fortune.

It was cool how they could take the money they won and spend it on the different rooms of mdse. Sometimes they had cool stuff, then they would get to their last 10dollars and buy some lamp or vase.

I always liked "Family Feud". :D

I voted for Remote Control!! I thought everyone forgot about that show!!

Press Your Luck was my favorite. It was cheesy but a lot of fun. Does anyone remember the Michael Jackson whammy?

Remote Control was very cool as well.

There have been a lot of versions of Hollywood Squares but my favorite one was when I was very young in the 70's.

I'm so sorry I hadn't voted sooner. I know I meant to and I guess I just thought I had.

I voted for Jeopardy, I never fail to learn somthing and I just live for getting the answer before the participants do. It was hard not to pick Press Your Luck. I just loved those whammies. Remote Control was also very good. I was an avid watcher.
