All night dancer talking here. I was just wondering who else could not stay out of the dance clubs with the great music?

I was definitely dancing all night and loving every minute of it. We use to go to the infamous 6th Street in Austin. We stayed at one club until dawn and go to another that was opened until noon. You can't beat those younger years of great and adventurous fun.;)

I started going to clubs when I was 16. I still go at least twice a month. I just like dancing and having fun. I never really liked bars without dancing. People are too serious there. I go dancing to have fun and not to find some drunk guy who thinks both of me is pretty. Most of the music I like is music I have heard in a club. I am such a club chick. :D

I was DEFINITELY an all-night dancer!! :thumb: From the ages of 24-28 I stayed out all night, until 4 am dancing, Tuesday-Sunday!! I never wanted to leave the dance floor, except for the occasional drink! My friends and I would live for the club scene. I'm glad that's behind me though, I am saving money!

Everything new I learn, I'm liking ya even more Kira :D I don't go as much as I once did, but make the rounds occasionally hittin the clubs down on Landsdowne Street in Boston. I've found going too often can really dull it down, but taken in moderation keeps it fun

Also depends what friends are up to....The Roem rarely travels anywhere alone...too dull :p

ROFL!! I agree though. There are dancers and then there are drunks. Sometimes there are drunk dancers, but they usually look more like they're having a seizure :vibrator: than dancing. Dancing is the essence of going out. I like hanging in the bar too, but it doesn't beat dancing.

I used to be such and all night dancer. Well actually, dancing was the excuse to mingle. I was really an all night mingler. I just loved making the rounds all night and flirting it up with as many people as possible. No club was too far to drive to for a good night out. My big going out years were from 16-26 roughly. But even though my circle of friends is much smaller now than it has ever been, it's also of much better caliber. As much as I lived to go out, I really like staying in now. Although an occassional festive disco evening is hardly ever out of the question.

I love going to club and dancing all night. My friends would always try to get me OFF the dance floor and go to another club, but it's hard to leave a place that's playing great dance music.

I was DEFINITLY an all night dancer!!

We'd hit the flats at about 8pm, go over to Flannigan's, drink, then head on over to our fave club, (OMG, the name just flew out of my head!!), and stay there till they kicked us out. We'd do this every single Friday and Saturday nights. I was on the dance floor the entire time, with guys buying me drinks, and trying to dance with me. Loved that feeling!! Sometimes I miss that.:(

Whenever I go clubbing, my friends call me the Non-Stop Dancing Machine, as I like to get out on the dance floor and stay until closing time!!! Boogie-Woogie-Oogie....

LOL I was and still am such an all night dancer! My b/f djs once a week, and you think I'd get tired of dancing till 4am every week, but I never do. It's the music that just gets me. I'm not into raves or house dance music or anything like that...it's the new wave, futurepop, synthop songs that get me going. I just can't turn down a dancefloor when I'm hearing Depeche mode or Trans-X playing. It's just too good. :D ;)

I hear what you are saying, Xis!!! Trans-X's "Living On Video" and anything by DM can get me out on the dance floor post haste!!!

When you talk about DM and Dancing then it has to be "Personal Jesus". As soon as I hear the intro I'm on the Floor.

I used to be a serious Club Freak, partying all nite to the latest House tunes (and I still love Masters at Work and Deep Dish) but since starting up as a Dj I've gone back to the music I was weaned on........70's and 80's Dance Music. Anything by the likes of Dan Hartman, Chic, Isaac Hayes, Prince, Alexander O'Neal, Madonna or Janet Jackson just puts me into a trance.

As Sister Sledge so eloquently put it "we're lost in Music"!

The songs that do it for me are:
Behind the Wheel-just the sound of that hubcap rolling gets me out on the dance floor.

Personal Jesus and Strange Love.
Well, actually all the songs do it for me, but I thought I would name some.

Same here, wether it's the regular version or the remixes, it's GREAT! "Personal Jesus" is my favorite Depeche Mode song after "Strange Love". :thumb:

There's nothing like finding an old thread like this to make my day. Strangelove is a great dance tune whether you're a Mode fan or not. :)

Well, Flix--------You will be in San Antonio, right? Well, be sure to save some dance time for me. And everyone else going, be sure to be ready to dance and have a great time all night long. See you guys in May.

I unfortunately won't be able to attend this time, txgirl. I will have to owe you a dance to some other time. :(
