I was wondering what happened to Elisa Fiorello. She sang on the Jellybean hit from 1987, "Who Found Who?". She had a great-sounding, soulful voice (reminiscent of Taylor Dayne's) and was quite beautiful. She was one of a spate of Jellybean protegees, but I think she had the most potential of a continued music career. Has anyone heard anything about Elisa or know of her whereabouts today?

I don't know about today but she had another great 80's tune called "Forgive me for dreaming" and she had a 90's hit with the Prince penned "On the way up"

Thank you for the information about Elisa, DJ. I wasn't aware that she sang a Prince-penned tune in the '90s. Luckily, you are a fountain of musical information! :)

Michael, Elisa has a new cd out entitled "Undecided". She is still recording and writing her biography as well. Elisa's recorded over 200 songs alone and with other artists. She's credited on Savage Garden's album and recorded with legendary jazz artist Nina Simone! I love Nina! :thumb: "On My Way Up" is my favorite tune by Elisa Fiorillo!

I've also heard some singles called 'You Don't Know" and "Forgive Me For Dreaming", both are nice pop ditties.

Hey there...I was just wondering about her myself...She was not only with Jellybean, but has also had some collaborations with Prince (in fact, he helped produce her first album); I have always liked her and Stacy Earl (whom both had albums released about the same time, and whom both have potential that wasn't acknowledged-shame)...
Another song she had that was awesome was 'Oooh, this I need'....really sexy, hot song (I happen to like that one better than 'On the Way Up,' but they are BOTH excellent in their own right...I think the problem was how they marketed them; not much marketing with either of them, and that is why I believe that they were forgotten so quickly....
Hope that this helps some in your search....If you know anything else, let me know; I am still trying to get my hands on some Elisa Fiorello music...

I remember she sang back-up on Mad About You by Belinda Carlisle

She was very easy on the eyes as well :)
