I don't know if this had been covered or not but who had picture discs? These were record albums, 45's, or 12" singles with pictures on them instead of a standard black record. These are the ones I have:

Duran Duran 12" of The Reflex
Pat Benatar 12" of Shadows of the Night
Kiss's album Smashes, Thrashes and Hits (which one side has them in makeup and the other side without)
Pat Benatar's Get Nervous album
I used to have Bon Jovi's New Jersey album but my ex ended up with it

I have atleast one I will be reunited with real soon here. It's been at my moms house. I know on the back it had Come Up And See Me Make Me Smile from Duran Duran...on the front was...I really can't remember.It might be the same one as "The Reflex" one you have! Don't laugh but i had some star wars records that were like that,33's and 45's.

Never searched for picture discs, as they were known to reproduce a slightly minor sound quality (as this was counting on the $300 stereo I owned back then <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0"> ) and also were said to wear out faster.
Heck, I wanted to listen to those discs, not to hang ´em on the wall... <img src="wink.gif" border="0">

I own some plain- or multicoloured discs, manufactured by Intercord Germany (most of them Depeche Mode...for those who wondered <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0"> ).

Star Wars is cool.....I mean...all I have is one with E.T. <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0"> Loved that little guy though! <img src="tongue.gif" border="0">

I was never too big on picture discs, but I do have 2 of them, by the same band, coincidentally.

I have Pat Benetar's "Get Nervous" on picture disk. It's really cool. She's in the strait jacket on both sides. I think it's just like the album cover, but I'm not sure because after I got the picture disk, I didn't buy the album. My boyfriend bought this for me on my 16th birthday. :D

I found my copy in a used record store back in 1995 along with the "Shadows Of The Night" 12 inch picture disk.

I don't own any picture disc's, Nope, not even a Pat Benatar one. Ah well!

I see Trixter collects Madonna the way I collect Prince. I would love to have a copy of the picture disc for Like a prayer because of the Madonna/Prince duet "Love song". I also forgot that I have a few bootleg picture disc interviews with Prince.

being the HUGE Iron Maiden fan that I am, One of my most highly prized items is an immaculate pressing of the Aces High vinyl picture disc - on the reverse side it has a few rare tracks like Sheriff Of H'field etc. and there is a picture of a German 'Fokker' fighter plane being shot down (it ties in with the classic picture on the A side with Eddie in the Spitfire cockpit)it's a fantastic design and concept - the plane is spinning in a circuar motion around the grassy fields with a trail of smoke- you stick it on your turn-table and it looks like the plane circling around in a spiral fasion towards the ground. it is seriously the coolest thing you've ever 'seen' on a record player

I HAD the picture disk of "Our lips are sealed" w/ "We got the Beat" on the "B" side, but it unfortunately got SOLD along w/ my other 45's when I stored them at a friends house when I lived out of state for awhile and her brother decided to sell all of the 45's in the house... including mine!! (Can you sense I still harbor a bit of anger regarding this matter?)
