My friend and I are thinking of having an 80's theme joint birthday party. Any ideas on a way to throw an all out 80's party at a not so high cost? We'd really be thankful for any advice.:angel:

Sounds like fun.....here's a little advice..hope it helps some. Go to the local thrift store (Salvation army or Goodwill for example) you can find albums from the 80's for almost next to nothing. Just use the jackets for decorations...the albums usually won't even play. Also, at these places, you can also find outfits from that era...MADONNA or CYNDI LAUPER get ups.

Another idea, for some of the entertainment, play a song lyric contest. Where they would guess what song it came from.

For food..make up an 80's type menu...such as "TOTALLY AWESOME TACOS" or "PACMAN PIZZA"..I know, sounds corny..but just an example.

You might be able to log on to some of the 80's sites around the web and find some other ideas. Have fun.
