Pick the best hair band of the 80's. This voting session ends on 2/2/02.

This was tough for me because I love all of these bands, but I went with Def Leppard. I was into them more than the other groups back in the 80's. They were the first band that really made me take notice of hard rock/metal music.

I voted for Def Leppard because I've liked them since I purchased their LP "Pyromania" back in '83.

I liked Motley Crue and Bon Jovi. I won't even say I could tolerate the others, but I voted for Def Leppard because they had staying power. They went through a lot of really hard living and still gave us the music. I enjoyed just about everything they put out and really thought Joe Elliot was a hottie.:naughty:

That's a tough vote....came down to Def Leppard and Motley Crue for me....so I went with Def Leppard. Overall there's just more tunes I like outta them than any of the others mentioned....

Def Leppard, just for the fact they had more good songs than the others.

Wow! I love this one! Too hard, though! I went with Def Leppard, I just loved them! I loved Bon jovi, too, which is what made this hard. :) But you picked some great choices!

I went for Bon Jovi, but I actually voted on the hair and not the music. I would have thought that Whitesnake might have made the poll, but that's just my humble opinion and not meant to be a criticism to the people who have put a lot of hard work into this.

Def Leppard was by far the best of these bands (IMO). I never really considered Def Leppard, a glam or a hair band, they were to me just an excellent hard rock band.

My choice is Def Leppard.

I would have to go with Bon Jovi, like Recker reasoning, for the sheer reason that they had the best songs out of all these groups IMHO. :cool:

I just couldn't decide, so I went with Poison. I loved Bon Jovi, Motley Crue, Def Leppard.....but I always fantasized very graphically about Brett!!!:wildthing

I voted for Bon Jovi. Living on a prayer is one of my favorite songs, so it was an easy choice. I am not a big rock fan, so my vote is not very fair to rock fans. I do not even know some of the other bands.

I'm going to be the odd ball and cast my vote for Cinderella, mainly 'cause they had a lot of great songs and their ballads had lyrics that were really moving and emotion stirring, at least for me.

I always liked Bon Jovi in the 80's and still do today so that's who I went with.

BonJovi was just too hot:licky: I had to vote for him. I loved his music then and now. He did have great hair, still does.

This was a hard question but I wound up going with Motley Crue. S.O.S. is my favorite song from all the groups in the poll.

Everything about this band was done perfectly - their image, their music, and.. their hair (they had a lot more hair than Def Leppard ever did, LMAO).

btw, VH1 also voted Poison as the #1 hairband of the 80s.. i'm sure some of you saw that show...with Dee Snider (who's looking like Christina Aguileira nowadays... LOL)
