I have been trying to find a site where it says what the artist ment by the song. I thought it would be interesting to read what everyone thought first, than be able to read what the artist ment. :) There don't seem to be any sites like this??? MAybe I am not searching right?

Lots of artist don't like talking about the "meaning" of their songs. They don't like to dissect the lyrics and they don't want their fans to disagree with them either. Some artists are probably scared since they only wrote THAT song to get some fast money and now people put so much meaning into the words. But I am sure there are some artists who don't mind.

Acutally, Flix, we were talking about this at work yesterday and we kinda came to this conclusion. ;) That and maybe some lyrics are too personnal for an artist to reveal what they were thinking?

TC, I guess that you have to look up the respective sites if you want to know more about the meaning of their lyrics.
I have noticed that the more the artists and bands are famous, the more it´s up to you how to interpretate the lyrics. Especially German underground artists are more than willing to tell you the facts behind the lines (if they are in English)... ;)
