Was anyone else a fan of the freestyle trio Company B? Their biggest hit was the dance hall classic "Fascinated", which I still love to dance to. Another hit was "Full Circle", which is also an 80s dance anthem. I loved the video to "Fascinated", with all three of the ladies wearing blue tinsel wigs, tight mini-dresses and stilleto heels. I actually saw Company B perform with Expose at a nightclub back in '87, and they were hot!!! Who else enjoyed Company B???

I remembered 'em, but the only tune I ever played outta them was 'Facinated' or just mixed the beat with other tunes (don't wanna say sample...we know what that leads to....:lol: ) :p

You're in luck Wonder Twin, I too remember 'Company B'!! But as Roem posted, I only remember "Fascinated". They had a great sound! :thumb:

I'm glad that you also remember Company B, Wonder Twin. They were one of a slew of all-girl freestyle acts to appear on the scene in the late-80s, but their sound (and looks) made them stand out from the crowd!!! :)

Do I know them? I don't remember them at all.....heading to BearShare to find this now.......I must be slipping! UGH! (And I od have to admit, the first time I saw the title Company B, all I could think about was "The Boogie-Woogie Bugle Boy From Company B"!!!!!)

I remember Fascinated. It was one of those songs I could dance to all night. I love the high tempo and the voice singing it. Is that a typical freestyle song? If it is then I need to find more freestyle.

Actually Kira, most freestyle sounds even BETTER than that! :D I've always loved the females of freestyle the most...look for stuff from Sa-Fire, Lissette Melendez, Judy Torres, Cover Girls, Giggles and Sweet Sensation just for starters :cool:

Can't discredit the guys either...you may like that sound as well from the likes of Johnny O, Stevie B, Coro, TKA, etc.

I love Freestlye music!!! It was just so fun and danceable in the 80s. I don't think freestyle made a big splash in Europe but it was quite huge in the States in the late 80s!!! :cool:

I am wanting to find out if this is the album version of this song because for 2 years now I have been trading music with another person and both of us are trying to make 1980s music collections. We both only want the original album versions of the songs in our collections (not edit versions, extended versions, remixes, live, etc.). This is one song this guy needs for his collection and if this is the original album version of this song, then I will be able to give it to him.

I have the Radio edit version and it is 4:50 so 3:39 sounds awful short. Songs that are on Compilation CDs are usually shorter so I think you have a Compilation version.

Yes, I remember Company B--and their song, Fascinated, which I recorded right off the radio in 2001 or 2002.

Again .... both songs (in my opinion Full Cirlce was a better song, but Facinated had a better remix) .... are essential for an 80's Dance CD.

Didn't they also do "Perfect Lover?" Cool pounding beat in that song if I remember correctly.

Oh Yeah Company B and Fascinated. That song came out late 1986 or early 1987. That is an awesome Dance/FreeStyle song. I used to dance to that song like crazy when it came out in the 80's. Oh the memories...
