Things getting more and more repetitive around here? Ya know, the same old topics, same old problems, same old posts? I'm not saying this isn't a great place or anything, or that I wanna leave or take a break, I'm just saying it all seems repetitive. What's everyone else think?

I guess...sorta kinda maybe...I dunno :p I wouldn't say all the topics are really the same...if they were, I'd be merging everything in site (although I have had to actually do that with a few posts recently).

Is this thought moving towards a goal to improve? or just one of those things that make you go hmmmm?

Maybe it's just to make us go hhmmmmmmmmm.......

Personally, sometimes, even when it's repetitive, another person may put it into a different twist with the same meaning, but I tend to see it differently and still reply.

Of course, right now....I have a lot of Ny-Quil in me and I may not be making a whole lotta sense!!:D

Ted has a point. I took a break for a couple of days because it seems like we're all starting to bicker more and have fun less. Why? Because we're not making an effort to make up new topics or keep things fresh. It's on all of us, not just one of us, to keep this place a happy place to be. :)

So let's start....I will think of a song to post in "Stuff From Our Member's" using Topcat's idea (which was great!) and maybe someone else will post a song, too? And I'll even try to come up with something fresh for Member's Lounge....and I warn you, it may be GRATUITOUS!! (It's late, you know.....)

It's not really getting old to me. If it is I just go to a forum I don't usually visit and then it's new all over again!:)

 ROEMY!!! There you go sharing secrets again. You just might need a sentence of your own! VAL, get him! LMAO!

We now kindly return you back to the topic....
I don't know if it gets repetative here, maybe sometimes. I don't fancy myself a great topic starter, so I tend not to start them. (I'm smart like that, see? lol). I'm sure fresh waves of topics are on their way, and I'll be happy to post in them. I just like to hang out here and see what my fellow freaks are up to and what's going on in your heads. (Usually makes me feel better about what's going on in mine. hehe....j/k :D). So, uh, there.

Just the nature of the beast. Stick around long enough and you begin to see repetitive posts. Sometimes it's fun though to see new people's post's along side of the older members.

I would say that you are just so much more brilliant than the rest of us Ted that you have already seen the future posts and the present posts so things seem the same to you... strangely like you have already read them or something. :D Sorry, but I'm in a mood!

**walks up to Foxx with Stone Cold demeanor** What? I'm sharing secrets? what? I merely noted that you knew about it since you were there when I thought it up! :p what? I said you were there when I thought it up! I never said anything about that poor chap you actually strung up in the walls as I enjoyed my drink at the chatbar....that I'll keep a secret for ya ;)

Ted, if stuff seems repetitive, post new threads! Simple as that. Sometimes a new perspective on the same thing from a new person can be fun. sometimes its great that we are all just here together. It's a great place! Here's a topic--how did someone so young get into the 80s and are there more like you out there? You should be telling everyone about this!

Ted, you should take a break from time to time. You know, thereīs a real world outside. ;)

Okay...some threads are actually repeating themselves. But, with over 2,000 members, itīs inevitable that this will happen. I guess Iīm also guilty of this...but Iīm too lazy to look up for the original threads then. :D

As long as someone isnīt doing that on purpose, itīs okay for me. Besides, if itīs becoming annoying, Iīm sure that our semi- and full gods are going to take care of it... ;)

I don't care if it is sometimes repititve I love coming here and reading all the posts.

Repetition is part of the game when there are so many new members joining. We can't very well expect them to go back through old topics just to check if the topic exists.

Regarding people's problems. We are just human beings. It is very limited what kind of problems people are willing to share in a forum like this.

And Wavey is right - Take a break, come back and there will be tons of new stuff to read. It is after all just a message board. We have 250 active topics a day. Pretty amazing, but not enough to kill hours and hours here.

I didn't mean it was boring or anything. I was having a bad day that day when I made the thread, I was just sorta lashing out. LOL Sorry about that. But I did have a point. And if anyone's notice I haven't been on much during the day, just mornings and nights.
