I just read over at Deja news that singer Paul Young died of a heart attack earlier this week. He sang for "Mike & the Mechanics" & also had some success on his own.

Remember the song "Every Time You Go Away"? That was him.

The "Every Time You Go Away" Paul Young was not the one who died. He is 44, born on January 17, 1956.

The one who died was 53, born on June 17, 1947. He played with Mike + the Mechanics. He did vocals along with Paul Carrack.
