I received an invitation to join this board in an email from Sal after he saw my name listed on some other, lesser 80's page (thanks, Sal). I'm a real life computer geek from Charlotte, NC, almost 33 yrs. old (next month) and boy do I remember the 80's! I graduated high school in '85 so those were prime years for me. I've actually just completed a little personal mini-project where I cataloged lots of 80's songs that I used to like and then went and found them all on Napster. I've created 10 CD's of my ultimate 80's mixes and now I'm working on a couple that are strictly 80's heavy metal.

I actually just started thinking this week about buying the car that was my dream car when I was in high school: the Porsche 944! I'm gonna start shopping around for an older one in good condition and I'll let you know if I actually wind up buying one!

I have a rewritable cd that I used to make mixes for my regular cd player so when I get sick of a song I make a new mix http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smile.gif Love Napster!!!

VH1 had a survey going and EVH got over 40% of the votes and Angus only got 7%! Which I think is a bunch of Bulls**t!! Thanks, everybody, for the warm welcome! I was out of commission over the weekend but now I'm back and hopefully I'll be checking in almost every day!

To answer Blaziegirl about Eddie Van Halen vs. Angus Young, I have to say that V.H. is a better technical player but Angus Young can rock Eddie's ass off! I'd have to go with Angus as the better rock guitar player (plus he didn't play on weirdo Michael Jackson records either!).

Did you all hear about Eddie Van Halen? He's in the hospital with cancer. I'm not sure what kind but at Deja news, they were saying it was either tongue or throat cancer.
