HARDLY known?? Everyone in my city knew who the 5th Ward boys from Houston were GETO BOYS were all over East Coast and West Coast everywhere I saw, there is no doubt they made their mark. As for WHAT they released in the 80s they had their first album in 1986 under the name "Ghetto Boys" which was re-recorded and re-released in 1990 as "Geto Boys" on the Def American label.

These guys never had a hit in New Zealand, so I've never heard of them.
